Review HOPE FU24BA7L
They were all happy and exhausted at the end, the youngsters from the social institutions supported by RheinFlanke and its partners, who competed for the HOPE Cup as part of HOPE FU24BA7L.
Once again, the focus was on the experience rather than the result - the focus was on working together, teaching the teams fair play and respect on the part of the coaches, getting to know each other and playing football together.
The HOPE TALK gave the audience a great insight into the thoughts and actions of our guests, who we had invited to discuss the topics of "Integration, education and equal opportunities in/through Football". Wonderfully moderated by Susanne Amar and superbly staged by our production partner Freunde der Volksmusik, the talk provided exciting inside and outside views, from the work of RheinFlanke, the importance of nutrition for settling into a foreign environment, to soccer stadiums as special places of learning, soccer training as a language course and the difficult challenges of so-called integration in Germany, which are still far from being successfully overcome.
In the final concert by Ozan Ata Canani, Ata shared his very personal stories of the last 40 years as a "guest" in "paper cramp country" Germany. In the end, however, he made us all dance together.
Many thanks to all participants and Straßenkicker.base for the great cooperation!
